SPECIAL READING AND WRITING (Year 2 - 6)

The Special Reading and Writing Course supplements the Regular English Course by encouraging students to further develop expression, style and the mechanics of reading and writing. Improving your child's English skills will have a beneficial affect on their performance in other subject areas as well as their communication skills and consequently their level of confidence .

This course encourages students to:

· Write in various text types
· Develop an understanding of the reading and writing processes
· Develop questioning skills

· Examine structure and organisation of text/stimulus material
